Welcome to Walk or Run to Quit

Walk or Run to Quit helps tobacco users quit smoking by learning to walk or run 5 km over the course of a 10-week training program. Our past participants are proof the program works! Walking and running can help you overcome withdrawals and cravings while cutting down or quitting smoking.

10-Week Training Program

Walk or Run to Quit Training Programs provide participants with support from the Running Room, other participants and access to quit smoking expertise.

Virtual Training Program $49.99 + tax

Participants are provided with:

  • Virtual Coaching by Running Room staff for the Learn to Run/Walk plan
  • A proven quit smoking guidebook produced by Canadian Cancer Society
  • Expert cessation supports available through the National Quit Smoking Helpline
  • Motivation to set and work towards goals around increased physical activity and decreased smoking
