Quitting smoking is the single best thing you can do for your health. By signing up for this training program you are taking the first steps towards making a healthy change in your life. Participants learn to walk or run 5 km while receiving practical support on quitting smoking.

10-Week Training Program

Walk or Run to Quit is a 10 week training program that will help you quit smoking and will also teach you how to walk or run 5 km. Exercise has been shown to be a very successful tool when trying to quit smoking. It helps with cravings, withdrawal symptoms and weight gain. Are you ready to walk or run your way into a healthier you?

Virtual Training Program $49.99 + tax

Virtual Training Programs are ideal for people who wish to take a training program at their own pace and cannot attend at one of the store locations. When participants register, they will get:

  • Access to the Participant Dashboard
  • Weekly emails and audio clips from their coach
  • A simple and proven 10-week, Quit Smoking and Walk or Run plan
  • Access to quit smoking resources
  • Support from quit smoking experts from Canadian Cancer Society

If you are located near a Running Room store, participants are encouraged to attend Run Club on Wednesday, Friday evenings and Saturday, Sunday mornings. Day and time may vary by location. (Notice: Due to COVID-19, all Running Room Run Clubs are temporarily suspended until further notice. We look forward to resuming normal operations as soon as possible.)

Don’t hesitate to join with a friend, a neighbour, a co-worker or a family member who also wants to quit. Doing it with another person could be easier and encourage you along the way!
